Falon Weidman named program manager of PA Digital Trust Hub.

Falon Weidman

Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) has promoted Falon Weidman to program manager of the PA Digital Trust Hub, an initiative that helps school districts navigate cybersecurity, data privacy, data governance and other technology challenges.

Weidman has spent the past five years as a program evaluator at the AIU, using data analysis and storytelling to assess education and youth development programs. Her background also includes digital literacy instruction and nonprofit programming, along with a degree in public administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

As program manager, Weidman will coordinate Hub initiatives, strengthen district partnerships and guide improvements as the program expands across Pennsylvania. Her initial focus will be listening to district partners and identifying opportunities to better meet their needs.

“Schools are so overburdened right now, and technology is expanding at a rate that is very difficult to keep up with,” Weidman said. “The Digital Trust Hub can fill in that gap.”
