Data Privacy Day, on January 28, is a natural moment to help staff think about how their data, and their students' data, is collected, shared and used.
For January 2025, the Digital Trust Hub gave members a five-part staff series:
- Understanding data privacy
- Being picky about the data you share
- Taking control of your settings
- Teachers as data heroes
- Data privacy and edtech products
The series moves from personal habits to the classroom and the apps schools adopt. Members also received an infographic on protecting user data and a curated list of data privacy websites for staff who want to learn more.
